The manufacture of our shoes issues from the wish
to keep alive and most of all revalue the old craftmanship system, the only
method that combines in a single object the qualities of strength, beauty
and elegant practicalness. These qualities create together that uniqueness
which usually marks things rising above mere manufacturing to become works
of art. This requires first of all that attitude to work which, while not
leaving the economic side out, privileges the care of details, the search
for beauty and love of what we devote ourselves to. This is the craftman's
inheritance, whose skills subdue time to the pure satisfaction of a well
done work, that is therefore achieved and unique. |
